With the toy animatronics it makes sense because of the facial id software. But the withered ones don’t have that software. And since they are possessed, the souls give them some level of sentience, how are they not able to figure out that its just a person wearing a mask considering the rest of their body is still exposed.It appears that Glamrock Freddy may be possessed, but it's unknown by who. The Blob is definitely haunted by something, but we also don't know by who or even what it is. And then there's Burntrap, who just appears to be Glitchtrap. The reason the toy animatronics are aggressive is because the original 5 (withered) animatronics were being chopped up for spare parts to use in the toys, thus transferring some of the Remnant existing in those original 5 into the toys and causing their facial recognition software to essentially see any adult as a potential threat. In FNAF 2 I don't think the toys are possessed, but the Puppet is possessed by Charlie/Charlotte.
