Exactly. For Fighters and Archers, the thrall's faction, like Exiles, Darfari, Lemurians, etc (a list is on the wiki) is what determines what STATs they are strongest in. You can google for a list of each factions main STATs for a general idea. Artisan thralls will be better/faster only depending on their tier (I,II,III, or t4/named).
