Dec 5, 2012 · Welcome to the forum first off. I dont know a lot about this subject, but I can take a few guesses. 1. There may be something in the Nitro's computers that controls the blend of hot and cold air. Look up under the dash at the blend door actuator when you change heat settings. Make sure the actuator, the round piece, and the arm are working. In this thread No heat to the floor and no defrost, post 3 shows the location of the Blend door actuator. I put in new blend door box, thermostat, and water pump. still no heat. it will somtimes blow warm air from the 2 middle vents and the passenger side vent .the drivers side is always cold. it wont blow warm air at all if you put the fan blower switch past the second setting.
