Most of the time scavs kill me I don't have shit because I just spawned in 2-3 mins ago but I regularly leave raids with 400-500k+ off a 10-12 minute timer. I consider any scav run with less than 300k a failure but that only seems to happen by a perfect combo of bad starting rig+pack and bad luck hitting multiple spots that are already picked ...6.4 scav rep here, only some ammo has been worth it so far at lv 4 fence shop. For the complainers - would you rather have an extra 5 minutes of your scav cooldown, or would you rather have to wait an extra 5 minutes in the scav queue? This has nothing to do with server capacity. Scavs can only JOIN a raid, not start one. And way too many people are playing scav, so an adjustment was needed to prevent long queue times. How does this relate to OP’s suggestion of decreasing a cooldown? We know people will be assholes and that their karma will reflect that.. reduced scav cool down (if taken out by another scav with bad rep) just further incentivizes not being an asshole scav.
