Realistic is more fun for people wanting to challenge themselves and others. Each dogfight requires your knowledge on what your aircraft is capable of and what your opponents aircraft can do.

The P-61 (tech tree) is good too, as its armament (both payload and guns/turrets) are enough to dish out tons of damage, and it has the speed to nope out when needed.
