I disabled the plugin in iCue and replaced the .dll in C:\Program Files (x86)\Corsair\CORSAIR iCUE Software\plugins\ASUS with the one from Asus Plugin.zip. I also renamed the zip .dll from asus_motherboard_plugin.dll to asus_plugin.dll, I don't know if that was necessary. Then renabled the plugin in iCue. But I refused to install Asus Armoury Crate just to control G.skill Memory. It uses around 1-2.5% CPU resource. I have Asus Z790 Hero. The LED on that board is fairly dim and almost unnoticeable.

With that here is Chroma Control, a single installer that will add modules to control devices in other RGB ecosystems. As of now you can control ASUS and Corsair devices from Synapse. When installing you can choose what ecosystems to add support for. I can see the mobo in the iCue program but unfortunately none of the previous working profiles will work with the mobo. All other rgb functions are working under iCue itself.
