Unfortunately the issue persists across One S, Elite 1, Elite 2, and Series controllers now. Only the OG Xbox One controller (and before) is immune from this issue. Genuinely thought this'll be fixed for the Series controllers, but nope... It is somewhat better though. Edit: Apparently the OG Elite is immune as well.From what I gather, the main issues are: Unresponsive buttons due to glue/debris falling on the PCB during construction. Easily fixed with some cleaning and/or padding under the contact. Unresponsive LB and RB buttons, which are two solder points on the main PCB to change to more reliable ones.

The Elite 2 Controller is defective by design. It already has a large lawsuit against it for one issue.
